Does anybody know the technical term for the rubber bits that attach to the bottom of the coil pack? (1.8 Vectra B, 1999)
And if anybody knows if they can be bought seperately. Rang vauxhall they said yes gave a price and said 3 days for delivery & to come and pay. Went to pay and was told no they don't do them....but they will sell a coil pack for £140 odd. Strange.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks, I had noticed that one, I'm watching it & may bid on it. Rep added for taking the time to look and answer

I would still be grateful if anybody knew what the rubber bits are called, and if they are sold individually?

I think they'll be the rubber holders that fit onto your' spark plugs x 4.

I'd say they were part of a set of HT (high tension) leads, also called ignition leads.

They run from your' distributer to the individual plugs, you'd be looking for a set of 4 HT leads.

Doubt if they'd sell the rubber connectors only?

Post a pic showing exactly what you want identified.

As per the ebay item listed, I think?

Well that's HT leads and coil all in one then. When they go you are expected to chuck them and buy the whole lot. Wouldn't buy a second hand one tbh.

Pity they can charge £140+ for a new one mind? ;-)

I wouldn't pay that sort of money to put on a ten year old car.

There are a lot up for sale here...

220404687360 £47. You can easily pay that just for HT leads

Anyway, if the old one still works and it's not misfiring... Job done, leave well enough alone :w00t:

Thanks for both of your replies, have only just had chance to check back. Think the only option is to get a new coil pack, didn't bid on the other one as I was away from the computer.
It will need changing as 2 of the rubbers on the coil pack are split and one is pretty much non existant thanks to my dad pulling it apart to show it was split! The car has just started misfiring today.
Thanks again for your help!
