    medical question

    does anyone know if you require a valid medical certificate to get a job using construction machinery? ive tried google but cant find the answer.

    If it's driven construction 'machinery' the DVLA have sperate classifications for Road rollers & 'tracked' vehicles that need to be added to your standard license & may include medical questions or a medical/medical cert.
    In terms of larger 'tool' type machinery (non-mobile) you shouldn't need a med cert, but this could vary from employer to employer & depend a little on the type of 'machinery' involved. Most employers (contruction or otherwise) are going to ask on an application if you have any existing med conditions that they need to be aware of.
