Above the age limit, but wouldn't do it for any amount of money.

They are general pretty well governed and easy money. If I could I would.

Unbeknown to a lot of people.......you're all tested every time you go on hols and eat abroad as what could be passed in another country as an acceptable additive isn't necessarily passed here lol

If you read that case and it only "puts you off a little" then go for it! lol

:w00t: No way would I go for this - Remember what happened to those blokes a couple of years ago? I do.

Think I value my health more however tempting the money would seem.

Found the article on said men...scary

YES YOU GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR FIRST THEN YOU SIT DOWN WITH THERE DOCTORS AND THEY TELL YOU EXACTLY WHATS INVOLVED

Covance is a major company in drug testing. If you are interested contact them. I was going to do something like this when I was at Uni but didn't pass the health screening. (At the very least you get a good, thorough health check).
However I did hear from those who did the test (which involved overnight stays) was a bit unpleasant. Nothing painful or anthing, just some vomiting.

I done some of these whilst serving in the Army ( had some leave) I done mine In Edinburgh (Inveresk Clinical reasearch), I got £1200 for basically doing nothing, playing pool, the odd, walk, watching TV, playing video games. Can't remember what it was for. My little brother does them all the time, think the max is 1 or 2 a year.

If you are lucky you can sometimes be part of the "control" group (ie they give you a tablet which is completely harmless).

Yeah I'm sure I had a placebo, it was a drug to do with diabetes when I was there, I remember now.

A friend of mine has done 18 studies without ANY issues...

My hubby works in medical testing, they administer the drugs and look after the participants. He's been at it for two years and have only ever had one person become ill - and that person had had stomach surgery and an alcohol problem and didn't tell them about either. As long as you ar ehonest with them you will be fine, it's good money and tax free too!

i would consider doing it. Consider all the pros and cons involved. You seem aware that it is a risk to your health- of course there is. However, I would have thought the drugs were previously tested in some way. Find out as much information as you can before you commit to it so that you can make an INFORMED decision.

Good luck to you x x
