Went recently and am not a local but there is a big NCP multi storey car park right next door think there was about 900 spaces.

i would avoid parking in Birmingham, as it's a fair walk from there......:whistling:

I believe the charge is about £8-£9 for event parking in the NCP MEN.

Carry on round the corner and if you can get in it try the NCP open air outside Manchester Victoria Station. I think the cost is about £4-£5

Park on the old Boddingtons site. Its right next to the MEN arena and is only £3 for 24 hrs.

    Hi,

I 2nd the Victoria Station ncp carpark, it's a 2 min walk from the MEN and very reasonably priced.

If you fancy going by train instead, just get off at Victoria and it's next door x

Technically not next door, because theres an entrance inside the station!

I'd not go to close, cos it makes it tougher to get away
When we go to City, we park about a mile away, on Bradford Road, park too close and it's a long long wait
Towards the Brewery down Great Ducie Street a lot of the local business hire the car parks out and locals man them, charging between £5 and £10 depending on the event.
I've gone there before, cos i know a couple of the lads, cos they do the same at City

On event nights they boost it up to either £6 or £9, I can't rememeber which. This car park was a godsend when it was £1!

I'd go for the Victoria Station car park as it means not much walking and the MEN one is always rammed and you'll be trying to get out the car park for hours.

In terms of cheapness I'd go park a bit out of town at one of the metro car parks and get on that into town?
