Men's bodies: the good, the bad & the downright ugly? (objectify us)

Since women are objectivised here all the time (e.g. the 'curvy or skinny' thread), how about the same question about men? What is it you like or hate about men's bodies? Please avoid making any comment about men as humans with feelings, emotions, intelligence, etc. Just comments about the meat please.

EDIT: But note how the thread has evolved in more positive ways...

Men, stop hijacking this thread. This is supposed to for women to objectivise men, not a place to attack women! Shut up y'all and let the females speak! :-D

Erm a bit of squish is ok i guess, firm but pliable ;-)

I prefer one with lips rather than just an opening for food, 2 eye brows as opposed to one, 1 chin instead of 3, 2 strong arms, enough hair on the head and chest to play with but not enough on the chest and back to make 10 wigs. No pregnancy shaped belly. Beer guzzlers are a no no, it ruins too many brain cells and body bits. I like good conversation as opposed to grunting and someone prepared to do more than sit in front of the tv, like, um, hiking, gliding, microlight flights, museums, travelling, karting....

Weird - this thread is continuing but it's not showing in my 'misc' section. I could only get here by going through 'recent posts'. What's happening? Anyone else had experience of missing threads?

EDIT: Just restarted my computer but still same problem. Have the mods somehow filtered out all the males from being able to view this thread! Doubt it, but wouldn't it be great if they had... (I'm starting to get paranoid here!)

I like tall men, 6ft or taller. I like them to have a bit of meat on them but not fat. The welsh player Ryan Jones is the kind of look I go for lol!
I love brown eyes and mid brown hair, sexy legs are also important as are nice big hands and broad shoulders.
I have just realised that I have described my own husband, bless, must still be in love then!

We had this discussion in the office last week. Do us ladies like a man in a suit, shiny shoes etc or a a bit of rough with stubble. I go for the latter.

I like both at different times, my husband looks gorgeous in his suit, clean shaven for work, and I like his stubble and unkempt hair at the weekend when he's playing rugby.
Variety is the spice of life and all that

he he, you could get what you want and then comfort eating ruins him anyway, ah well

i think we should be allowed to have a variety of men to suit the mood we are in LOL. Like The weekend one would be party animal, Mondays would be attentive and cook, run you a bath etc(after hectic weekend) Tuesday and Weds would be the cultural type to take you out to interesting places and have geat conversation and debate, then Thurs and Fri would be the stallion. Oh and all have to make me laugh (except the stallion) LOL

Your comments (and others' comments) are interesting - even though I tried to get people to stick to the 'body', you have focussed on the individual in a more rounded way. This is kind of what I was expecting on a discussion among females. Even though you objectify in some part with reference to 'the stallion', you have presented a much more complex picture of what it is you find attractive in a sexual partner. Compare this with the majority of male responses on similar threads about females. They tend to focus primarily on body parts/shape and when they they reference women in a more holistic way, it is often to contruct them negatively (e.g. people who complain, 'bitch', etc.). Hmmm...

This could be due to the fact that a lot of men (not all) are looking for instant gratification, so looks are very important as that's the first thing they see. Women (again not all) generally are already looking further into the relationship, when it's important that you are compatible with your partner on a more emotional and intellectual level.

I also think that men seem to be better at saying what they don't like rather than what they do like, women in general seem better at saying the opposite way round.
