I've used disposal razors for years but would like to move to an electric razor but one which can either give me a clean shave or is adjustable to leave various lengths of stubble.
Can anyone advise what sort of product I should be looking for?

Stay away from them mate...... I tried and they just rag your face to bits!!..... nothing better than a wet shave

They either don't shave very well, or shave a bit too well

Agree with above, I spent about £35 on a Remington that was spose to be worth about £70, made my neck go red and sore :x and its rubish at shaving
Save your £

Hmm, I got my last electric razor a good few years ago, its disappointing to hear they're not much better!

I bought one for about a hundred quid a few years ago, really not worth the money.
Got a free one from subscribing to FHM, dunno what its meant to cost but it's pretty good. I dont use it for a complete close shave but just a quick trim.

Bought a Phillips shaver from argos yesterday for the same reasons. Haven't used it yet but hopefully it gives a good close shave.
