    Mens Suits !

I am after a suit (or two) but am not sure where to pick them up at a decent price , for decent quality.

lowest quality i would go is m&s
burtons etc just doesnt cut it

austin reed, house os frasers, cecil gee are quite expensive.

anyone have recommendations for good like m&s's ? but with other choice ?

Looking mainly for a black suit with pinstripe design

    wow responses already.
    thanks

im gonna skip tesco, primark and bhs as I didnt really like their fittings. But yeh, thanks for those.

Suit u has 2 for £125 + been in today they were ok, Moss is usualy best tho,

To be honest, M & S italian range is good quality at a decent price

Debenhams and Burtons carry a "Jeff Banks" range which I have had a few suits of in the past. Good design, well cut etc...

    how about george at asda

I don't know why you're going to skip these, they have a range of cut.
A teacher friend said he was going to check out Tesco after some programme (Gok?) that he'd seen on the telly. He was impressed with the washability and quality. It certainly won't hurt to have a look.
M&S do washable as well. My hubby got one a couple of years ago - wash and doesn't even need ironing. Brilliant.
Quality is fine but if it needs to be dry-cleaned it costs a fortune.

    Thanks

I have actually checked out the F&F range at Tescos and am not liking it, hence why i wanted to give it a miss. But thanks.

m & s had the suits in the sale 2 weeks ago-dont know if they still have. im sure it included the italian range.

Next always do nice suits that fit well and they range in price too so you can choose a budget that fits.

If you're extremely lucky you might even find one still in the sale, although finding the right size in both is sometimes rare.

Always get my "quality" suits from Slaters Menswear

    thanks for slaters link.
    first ive heard of them

nearest one of 40 miles way and they dont have a sop online feature on their site. Am wondering if these are well known brands of if slaters is a brand itself.

Try TK Maxx. A mate of mine got a £3000 Valentino suit for £300 from there about 6 months ago... not a bad deal.

Slaters is a brand but they do stock others such as,
Calvin Klein - French connection - Ted Baker - Melka -State of Art
As bitsey has said their "professionalism" is different class, it is worth the 40mile
journey if you are serious about menswear, and you will be a returning customer.!
If anyone gets the chance then check out their "flagship" store in Glasgow, ask for the "Ralph room"
some class gear in there. It is named after Ralph Slater the founder.

I got a suit from here once but I just find that their sizes are just really weird. Some "Medium" size jackets are realllyy long ... just may be their cut but still, weird sizes.

Hi, I am after a couple of new suits as well. Some of the suggestions on here are great. However, im starting a new job and would prefer noone to know I got them from Tesco ! So anymore suggestions would be great.
