I was copying files from a SD card to a Micro SDHC card (with USB adaptor) on a Vista pc....basically the copying process froze....

I am now left with a wiped 4gb Micro SDHC card with 0 bytes...

I have tried to format the card but i get "there is no media in the specified device" error.

Any ideas or is it goosed?

yup goosed

If you manage to get your computer to recognise that there's a card plugged in, then you *should* be able to recover your files with ]PhotoRec (works for more than just photos).
