    microDIMM laptop memory

I've just bought an old(ish) Sony laptop with the intention to upgrade it a little bit and I foolishly assumed it uses standard laptop RAM, but unfortunately it uses the smaller type, called microDIMM. It's 172pin DDR (PC2700 or faster). I want to buy a 256MB or 512MB module. There are none on ebay and places like amazon or ebuyer want crazy prices for them (around £40-£50 for 512MB). Would anyone have some spare for sale? Or maybe you know a place where it is cheaply available? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Shame, I have two 512mb 200pin slots i've been meaning to clear out.
Having said that I did upgrade my Dad's late last year and 172pin rings a bell. Possibly one or two 256mb modules, I shall have a look and let you know.
