    Microsoft XP?

Hi, my husband managed to delete Windows XP from our laptop so we have lost Word, Excel and PowerPoint and can't get it back!! Does anyone know a good price and where would be the best place to buy new packages? Many thanks, Kate

If you still have a CD to install Windows XP and get the OS back why not save the money on Office products and use OpenOffice?

Does everything MS can do and a lot more and costs nothing other than download time. Nearly half my daughters class use it at home as it free and many prefer it to MS.

Sounds good but I still need to be able to open Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents as I work on this laptop and I can't find the code to reinstall it

dont think hes deleted the actual Windows system, but just the office suite. I've just PM you. However, if it is Windows as well, just let me know.

Thank you - haven't got a clue about anything to do with IT :(!!!

try typing in office key finder in Google - there are some programs that will find the office key if it is still in the registry.
Beyond that - do you have kids? You can get office 2007 for @£35 (depends what version you want)
This works for primary/secondary or further education.
