i have always had hotpoint, but never again, they are now a pile of cack, when you come to replace dont expect anything good or to last, their customer service is also disgusting

My 2 yr old hotpoint packed up 2 days ago, the main drum bearings had gone! Wish i had done my research before buying that pile of carp!

Bearings are about £20 to replace.

Miele generally are not cheap and if you need one asap then the price is not important. Have a look at John Lewis, I think they give a free extended warranty.

You automatically get a 5 yr warranty until the end of may with any Miele washer! Price very important as i am skint but i realise the Miele will pay for itself over time.
