He probably hasn't realised games priced at £55 with big neon stickers saying 50% off won't work.

Rrp was £75 Ashley price £74.99

Wow he must have been on a "power drinking" binge to think buying game was a good idea.

He will buy disused gaming iconic names and slap them on any old product and try and flog it to us?? Not sure game industry suits his slap dash approach.... but game the chain and Ashley do fit perfect for brand and attitude to customers

They really suit each other. Pair of rip off shysters. I'm very curious to see how they can make each other worse X)

Wait till he staffs the shops with his little Indian sweatshop workers earning 2p an hour. Sad thing they would be more competent than most Game staff.

All Mike needs to do is to get the employees, in between selling disc insurance, to remove the tissue from toilet rolls and bag up the loo roll cardboard.

    The profits will rocket.
Plus all that recycling will help Mike's image which has had a bit of a bashing as of late.

So now they'll be trying to up sell oversized mugs at the counter

I have a game gift card.
Can they somehow invalidate it before the expiry date?

Lol wtf is with the sports direct mugs

Looking forward to picking up Destiny 2 with a 3 pack of Slazenger shirts and an oversized mug.

Newcastle United merchandise sold in every GAME store up and down the country!

Saw this on the BBC website, slightly concerned that they used the words 'struggling' in the news report for this. Looks like I may have to use up my unused voucher I've got pretty quick.

He hardly entices customers into the Store in knowing he owns it.

Game always has the worst prices, stock and deals - they're specialists in games and charge far higher compared to local supermarkets! Hell, every time I've bought from 'em, it's always been due to impatience and I've *GENERALLY* discovered far cheaper alternatives, locally or digitally. Furthermore, the two times I headed there to buy new releases - Persona 5 and Nioh - they had no stock whatsoever and seem to depend on either ignorant parents or ADHD children as their sale demographic.

Am surprised at this, I would have thought there wasn't enough profit margin in games for Ashley, they won't be a match for the profit he gets on clothing.

Games was charging £60 for BotW at release, no wonder they are in trouble if that they think they can sell games far above other retailer. also its really **** practise to have different online and in-store price, its just so dishonest to overcharge unsuspecting parent and kids.

    Lols

I hope they go under even quicker now.

Can only be a good thing for Game, he might shake them up a bit, because lets face it things can't get much worse.
