that's it, that's all she does is play Facebook games!!
what would you guys recommend, a HP stream perhaps? but what about the limited hard drive, I've read that windows is unable to update on these machines.
I was considering a chromebook like I have, but some of the games she plays are not compatible...grrr help!! don't really wanna spend more than £150.

Hi, I got one of these for my mom not long ago and they're great. Extremely fast. £109 at the moment reduced from £159.

Exactly this unless of course she is a nymphomaniac or multi millionaire!

nah, she's neither of those, but is disabled and enjoys the little things that she can do on her own.

Chromebook doesn't work for all the Facebook games she plays, and needs something with a longer battery life then 2 hours...

I've been looking again and thinking that a Lenovo 300 would be just the ticket, especially with the added bonus of a touchscreen, just need to find this or something similar around the £150 mark.

No need to justify it, some people just love to criticise.
Am also looking for a little chrome book or the like for basic needs.

let me know what you find mate. im looking for a basic laptop for the kids too. not for gaming but the usual internet browsing, watching Netflix/plex and word/excel etc type of stuff for school.

Imo go second hand from a company like itcsales get an i5 processor maybe a year or so old and you should be fine

Take a look around the Dell Outlet, stock is always changing and most sell pretty quick. See some around your price point at present. I've added a 2nd link to current coupons and seems to be you are getting free delivery along with 10% off the prices. Note the prices are without VAT so remember to take that into consideration.

I would highly recommend a GTX Titan X for her just in case she needs to run a more graphically demanding game, like minesweeper
