Mobile Phone Deal Search..

Orange contract is coming up for renewal in the next few weeks. They have offered me 10% and a new handset (which I don't really want as I am happy with the one I have - yes I know I could get a new one and sell it on ebay but I don't want the hassle!).

Looking around there seems to be lots of companies offering free PSP/Xbox 360/Sat Nav/IPod/etc which seems more tempting as I'm sure the kids/wife/myself would make use of at least one of these.

Are there any website that let you search for the best of these type deals?

To answer my own question, I found this website that may be of use to others:

The website listed was nothing to do with me, so I had nothing to gain from it.

I would guess a lot of people on here would use such a site to find a deal and then go via quidco (if it has a link to that shop) so I suspect it wouldn't have lost this site from any possible affiliate income.

We know it was nothing to do with you, however if we allow you to post them then the owners also think they have the right to and all hell braks loose.

Those websites are "sold" to people for £45, and most of the 'owners' are desparately trying to get their cash back by spamming them everywhere.

OK fair enough, wouldn't want this site to be full of adverts.

The point of removing it wasn't because it loses HotUKDeals affiliate click throughs, but it was for the fact that those businesses do use their own affiliate links to make them money, whilst spamming all deal forums.

HotUKDeals has been kept spam free this far and everyone wants it to stay that way No ads, no spam, no nasty stuff...

Take the discount and perhaps consider a Samsung D900 / E900 and sell it on ebay for about £200+, set this against the monthly rental to significantly reduce the cost of running your mobile.

Just done my Orange upgrade... speak to retentions and see what they will offer.

My deal was:-

*Nokia 6233
*2550 x-net/anytime mins,
*Unimited txts,
*Free eveing & w/ens calls,
*Magic number,
*Free Broad Band,

£35/month

OR

*Nokia 6233,
*550 x-net/anytime mins,
*Unimited txts,
*Magic number,
*Free Broad Band,

Plus £230 credit

£35/month

I'm going for option 2.... I know it's not as good.. but £230 is far more usefull than all those free mins!!!

I've been looking around tho & I can get a better deal if I leave Orange and become a new customer and use the 15 month 1/2 price line rental through Carphone.....

It's only £32 and a lot of retention hassle... but £32 is almost another months free line rental!!!

If retentions really don't offer you something amazing, I'd suggest leaving and going back. that way you can take advantage of lots of great offers around

I on an orange contract like you and am coming up to the end as well.
What did you say to retentions to get offered such good deals? Were other phones offered to you as im wanting the lg chocolate phone? Also what is the retentions phone number? Thanks.
