    Modern warfare 2

Bought modern warfare 2 for the 360 yesturday in Sainsbury's - it has been in the 360 for 24 hours (machine is stood up). The machine has tipped over and put a big ring right around the disc and it is now un readable. Is there anything I can do besides buy a new one ??

    Get a PS3

just goes to show they can keep making new chips but these side fails will still occur.

obvisouly you cant do anything about the disk........sainsburys wont take back and microsoft will blame you like they blamed lots of other people.

you could try anyway but your best option is what ben3110 says.

when this happened, i took it straight back to tesco and got a replacement, should work in sainsbury's too.

it is because the xbox 360 was built to stand vertically or horizontally. in those positions if disk gets scratched, its a machine fail.

obvisouly its not a machine fail if you shake it or keep it at a weird angle which the OP didnt do.

you label people fanboys then use fake images yourself?

least you could do is stick with the facts.

Games also come with a warranty should say in the instruction manual, If you send the disc to the address in there they usually send one back. I would advise just to read at back of instruction manual info usually there:thumbsup:

it was a bit of fun as people are not helping by saying get a ps3:thumbsup:

And what facts both have there advantages and disadvantages and is up to the user to pick what they want, Op was not asking what console to buy she was asking about problem with her disc

    Haha the fanboy is back.
