Yes it's now available to pre order from Shopto.net but is there anywhere else selling with available discounts

I remember the Tesco pre-order for Black Ops was the best last time

Activision has said that Project Beachhead will provide "premium, value added" content that is exclusive. According to industry analyst Michael Pachter and I, this means you'll be paying a fee to play Modern Warfare 3. How much you'll pay, and what you'll get for your subscription remains to be seen, but if I had to guess, I'd say some small fee (like $5 a month)

    LOL

Wont be buying that then !!!

Trouble is, if 50% of people opt in it's worthwhile for Activision to do this. Everyone needs to stop and think but they'll not and just go and jump headlong into it. Proving those that get all the money right, in that these people really are as thick as p s

Robert Bowling confirmed the other day you will not have to pay to play MW3 online. He goes on to say there will be addons (dlc etc) but standard play is free for everyone.

Thank god for that, I hate why these companies make millions (which they are entitled to do)

But then try and squeeze more money from us by suggesting we pay per month really angers me

They make enough profit from the sales of the game and dlc I'm sure without bleeding us more

If you're getting 100s of hours of online gameplay (as many people do) then why shouldn't they charge more than other games which only offer 10-20 hours of gameplay?

I'm certainly not going to pay for example £5 a month
    NO CHANCE!!
A year of £5 payments is £60 plus the cost of the game and probably more for maps

Gets a bit out of hand when you think of it like that

I'm not saying it's a good thing, but when you look at how much value you get from a £40 game then there is certainly an argument for charging. I imagine the maps may be free or at least discounted/available earlier.
