have you tried trip advisor....find hotels with a good price read the reviews and then go directly to the hotels own site and ring them to see if it's cheaper.

Dont know yet, she'll be getting a train from Birmingham

are you sending her on her own??

stayed at the Howard, Swiss Hotel recently, its right by the Strand, so only minutes form the theatres. it was fantastic. The room was about the £140 for the night, but my OH mentioned if was a special occasion and we were upgraded free to the top floor suite, with flowers, chocolates, the works. might be worth a look.

thinking of sending her with the mother in law

don't forget to budget for shopping then!!

Hi, i went in November for my 30th and stayed in one of the 'Grange' hotels, just off Oxford Street I think we paid £90-£100 for the night. It was supposed to be a 4* hotel, although i dont think it was quite that, maybe 3+, there was nothing wrong with it and it was within walking distance to the theatres. Have you bought the tickets already? If not have you tried Lastminute.com? They usually have good deals. There is a travelodge in Covent garden if you're on a budget!!
Hope they have a great time, I'm taking my 2 boys to watch Oliver in the summer, cant wait!
