Monarch might go bust, am I protected?

Hi, it's all over the news that monarch might go bust, are all monarch flights atol protected? Or only the ones leaving the uk?

If Monarch are doing ok financially - this is the worst possible publicity they could have. They will loose so many sales from people in fear of them going bust.

Anyway, in answer to the question

hope not, supposed to be flying to spain with them in a few weeks

would be a real kick in the teeth because it was initially a package holiday and the company we booked through went bust and **** it all up and we had to basically repay everything already.. grr

Today is the day their licence is due to expire, it will only be renewed if they can show the CAA they have the necessary funds.
