Money back for South Eastern Trains monthly/season ticket holders for the day a snowflake fell (2nd Feb)

Not so much a deal or a freebie, but just to let people know who were unable to travel on the 2nd February due to the snow, that if you have a South eastern train monthly or season ticket, you can claim for compensation by 31st March.....

"On Monday 2 February Kent and London experienced the worst snowfall for twenty years. In some places snow was up to ten inches deep.

As our trains are powered by the electricity supply in the 'third rail', anything covering it, like ice or snow, acts as an insulating layer making it very difficult for trains to draw power. And with snow this deep it wasn't possible for Network Rail to access points and signals on the network, particularly in central London area, meaning we were unable to run trains .

So despite our, and Network Rail's, best efforts to mitigate against the bad weather, we're sorry we weren't able to run a full service due to the heavy volume of snow.

We are providing compensation to monthly or longer Season ticket holders unable to make journeys on Monday 2 February. Please complete the form below and send to our Customer Services team."

to be honest, and this is what they are banking on, i cant really be bothered to claim for £10.96 with the hassle of printing off and posting to them....

Thanks anyways!

Moved this to misc Think it's advice rather than a deal.
