Been thinking about getting one but am concerned about the price going up during the term. Does this happen or will it stay the price advertised for the whole year?

Looking at Three or Virgin for around £8 for 8gb a month

Thanks

They could go up in line with RPI
Tescp stay the same
It may go up but by a few pennies say upto 3%, but they don't usually do it in the first year.
If price increases beyond RPI per annum or other detrimental term introduced you will be legally able to leave contract early at no penalty.

Three used to exclude SIMO from price increases, but that changed a couple of years. One of the reasons I left.
As Andy said you can leave if it’s higher than RPI and sadly Virgin have a habit of “removing old” tariffs even when they leave numbers on the same account on the original one and say old when they mean new. Most recent they have done this just last month, previously they have increased prices and not even bothered to tell customers.

consider one of the 30 day contracts out there there are some good deals at the moment.
