More restrictions on Merlin Annual Pass....

Found 30th Nov 2009
Having discovered that the passes were restricted in August this year to entry after 3pm for most attractions I've just noticed on their website that it's been totally excluded now for all of August!

"No entry during the month of August at London Eye,
Madame Tussauds London, London Dungeon and SEA LIFE London Aquarium"

This makes it more of an 11 month pass doesn't it?

Did anyone with a pass get any kind of notification about the changes?

Not impressed......

Nope. Wasn't aware. That said, I'm sure I used it to go to Thorpe park in August!

Are there different types of Merlin passes? Either way I won't be renewing. Passes hardly got used. Probably would have been cheaper to have used the bogof deals!

It seems to be a new T&C. The only differences in passes are family, indvidual adult or child.

They worked out quite well for us, but August is obviously the best time to take kids to see the attractions, which is no doubt why it's been restricted. But really - it's like an 11 month pass now. =(
