So i've finally got around to building a new PC, and i have the graphics (8600 GT XXX)and processor (E4600) all sorted out. Now i just need a motherboard to put it all together on. But i don't know what i am looking for.

The rest of the my order is on Scan, so i would prefer if it was on there, although ebuyer is also an option. I have seen this one,…296 is this any good? I have around a £50 budget

Which processor?

He tells you the processor in his question.

To get really good PC building advice go to the MicroMart forum.

It is here:

You do need to register (free) and then I suggest you ask on the "System Builders and Upgraders Forum"

These guys REALLY know their stuff, and you usually get some really quick answers.

However, it will help if you tell them WHAT the PC is to be used for (games, video editing, general use etc), also if you want to overclock, and also how much you want to spend (overall).

If there are some features you want on the motherboard let them know that as well (sound for example), also the SIZE of motherboard (ATX, microATX, or that you dont care abut the size).
