Moto G vs Moto G 4G/G2

I double checked specs on gsmarena but only difference with older model is Moto G 4G obviously has 4G network capability and Moto G 2 (2014 version) is just 5 inch screen. all other specs are same. why one should pay upto £50 extra for these?

plz correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm waiting for the 5" dual sim to drop to around £110 just before Christmas i hope.

have seen people with 3g speeds higher than my broadband at home which is fine for hd
is 4g a totally different tech then which is excellent even at its worst case? never bothered to look into it tbh as 3g/broadband had been enough
No 4G available to me in the sticks. O2 is still 2G here so I'm not holding my breath. :-(

no, just dont hold the screen 2 inches from your face..
I don't need the 4G so I bought the 2nd Gen version. The bigger screen is good, and the camera is much better. 8MP on 2nd gen, 5MP on 1st gen.The non 4G 1st gen didn't have sd card slot but the 2nd gen does.
