Hi all,

a family member has been on Sky ASDL for years and years but has now just moved to Fibre using the Sky website.

they are using a Sky Q ER110 router.

The email confirmation etc doesnt mention when Fibre will kick in etc.. any idea of how long this takes?

Call them?

They have super busy lines due to COVID situation, figured someone on here might know how long it takes for an engineer to go to cabinet and move it over etc.
Normally within 10 days
The downtime isn't very long IIRC, hours at most.

When the job is done will depend on what Sky arrange with Openreach. I've never been with Sky but they may send them an e-mail when they date is arranged.
Your confirmation will be sent once it's committed by Openreach, until then Sky won't know.
You should get an email Monday or Tuesday, It's an external appointment so nobody needs to access the property.

They are not.
Ring around 9am and you will literally get through straight away.
