Sick of O2 customer services and the rising prices, I pay stupid amounts of money and only get 1GB data, so I have ordered a 32GB iPhone 5 with Three, the service on the phone seems ok, are they good? Any other Three users on here?

3 (3g) data is the best of the providers by a long (long) way. they will call you relentlessly around xmas etc. though and will try and get you to buy things from them for your immediate family, extended family, dog, cat, people on benefits, etc., etc..

you get used to the 0800 numbers though and just ignore/press top button to stop ring/vibrate.

With iPhones at least, I just set a silent ring tone for those ones lol!

3 are without doubt imo the best provider for value and Customer service. Okay the call centre can be hard work at times but thats just a communication thing and then they are more helpful than you could wish for

I have found O2 customer services to be super arrogant recently, and they haven't done me any favours, as long as three gives me signal, a good amount of internet and works, im happy.

lol, too much effort for me

but i don't answer 08xx(x) numbers anyway oO they can leave a message if they want and i'll get back to them, or not
been with Three for years and never had one problem with them.
O2's Customer Service used to be second to none, unfortunately that seems not be the case anymore.

Although, I have heard a few nightmare stories about 3 as well.
it depends. Three normally sends PAYG Sim with contracts orders, try that sim for a day before you go ahead.....
move to giffgaff instead
I've just moved over from 3 to O2, and after 4 or 5 years with them and had to fight tooth and nail to get my Pac code from them.

What I had to ensure to get the code was nothing short of scandalous.

I was lied to by a customer service adviser who claimed to have processed the code only for me to call back 2 days later to be told it had never been actioned.

I was threatened by one adviser I would lose all "loyalty discounts from immediate effect" if I requested the code.

I then had to endure 30 minutes of scare stories about O2 and how they have a tendency to "steal money" from customer bank accounts.

Finally I was told by the last advisor I spoke to (after the pac code was finally processed) that (instead of the usual 30 days) I had 24 hours to get off their network.

I wrote a complaint to Three about my experience and yet await even an acknowledgement.

Needless to say, that's one network I will never be returning to.
Im on three.. Much better than orange...got tired of the million and one marketing calls i was getting from them.

Sim only orange contract. £2.70 a month after cash back and much better signal where i live.. cant say im not happy.
I moved from o2 to Three and never looked back. had no issues with them at all
I have had a very good experience with three, though the call centre (free ring tings) tend to try and sell you an additional phone oO every so often after they solved your query
Been with 3 for about 20 months now and can't really complain as great coverage and 3G usage plus unlimited all you can eat data. In the 20 months I've had poor signal on 3 occasions which each one last about a week which wasnt ideal but my local mast was down so my signal was poor but they refunded money off my line rental.

I used to to with O2 but the signal was useless where I work as barely got 1 bar so it was a no brainer for me to move over. Depending on the upgrade deals when my contract is up for renewal will depend if I stay with them or not as Vodaphone and orange also offer good signal for my area
I'm with 3 and used to moan about coverage but that appears to have been the fault of my previous phone. The deal I got was great and always found their customer services relatively OK.
watch Alan Carr - Tooth Fairy. He describes 3 reception perfectly
3 are a great network. I'm so glad I moved from O2 to 3.

O2's tariffs are laughable.
I'm with three, and having experienced all the major providers, I find them to be my favourite. In the past six months, I've traveled and worked through and in the Scottish central belt, northern England, Cardiff and London, and my signal has been good to excellent everywhere. Their customer service requires some firm pushing to get what you want sometimes, but I've never failed to get what I wanted from them. No intentions here to go back to any other provider.

And on the note of Alan Carr - if you want catty remarks about licking the bit of flesh between a man's nut sack and his anus, alan's the man to ask. For everything else in this world, there are other people.
I'd go with four
Going to try them soon - buying a mobile bb sim with cashback to cover the cost = no risk
Dxx - I don't know what you watch but it wasn't Alan Carr talking about being on a plane with his 3 phone. I think you had the porn channel on
The first time I was on three was years ago when they first launched with the lg handsets with the camera in the middle I can't remember the model ,anyway I digress they was absolutely shocking and vowed never to use them again but last year I started 2 contracts and must say for the last 11 months it has Been faultless, everywhere I have been I have had a signal and sometimes 16meg plus outdoors it does suffer sometimes especially in supermarkets the signal just disappears especially morrisons, but I will be renewing especially with the launch of ultra fast Internet and apart form the call centres which is a knightmare I will be staying

This, recently left 3, very similar experience. If you have good signal and are happy with your contract, then three are just fine. ANY time speaking to customer service is involved though, three is terrible. Therefore imo, not worth the hassle, unless you'll be using a 30day rolling contract for many years and will never need to speak with them.
