Moving Out

    I am moving out of home and as a result will need to buy all my basics. I will be moving in to a furnished place but will need pans, cutlery, bedding & linen, etc. If anyone can recommend anywhere I can get these items cheap or suggest anything that I may need but might not have thought of that would be great.


    Matalan do some great homeware and are very good prices, they have a half price sale at the moment so some real bargains to be had, also wilko for all your bleach and dish clothes and things, Make sure you have the kettle mugs teabags and milk

    A lot of the supermarkets do boxes of glasses and cuttlery really cheaply.
    Go to poundland or places like that for a lot of home stuff and good luck with your new home,
    how exciting!

    dunelm mill might be good for bedding, linens, curtains etc

    IKEA do boxes of all you need as a starter pack, can't remember how much they were, but I think about £60.

    argos has a sale on and poundland also have quite a bit of houseware

    Go to a big tesco's or Asda .. you'll get most of your kitchen & bathroom stuff there for good prices

    Call A Removal Van And Clear The House Out ... ;-)

    tk maxx has some good stuff if theres one near you

    As everyone else has already suggested all the major supermarkets are reasonable for homeware also, wilkinsons and matalan are also very good
