Around 20 MPs attended the debate in the House of Commons on Thursday.

The vote carries no weight, but the session will effectively start the lobbying process for a bill on FA reform being drafted by the CMS committee.

FA chairman Greg Clarke has promised to step down if he fails to convince Sports Minister Tracey Crouch the governing body is determined to reform itself.

    12.7?

    17 MPs attended the debate.

I mean if it's that important to them why only 17?

When other nations Govts have intervened in the running of the football association, they have been suspended by FIFA ( the irony!)

Surely this applies to the English FA?

The MPs said that they could withhold funding to the FA!

FA should vote no confidence in MP's

    Pot, kettle, black.

At least the FA aren't trying to break away from EUFA to form a netball league with the USA with every game featuring Trump as a referee in Benny Hill mode.

I sense a new "Top Trumps" Football set should be available soon.

Probably to be branded as Front Bottom Trumps.

Are you mixing up queefs and quiffs?

Any chance we can ban soccerball and Trump from the country ?

    MPs might have a point...

“As far as ethnic minorities are concerned, we have problems, we’ve got to think ‘who are the ethnic minorities? At the moment we’ve got a Buddhist and a Muslim on the council. Now who else do we put on the council, a Jew?”...

    ...said one FA council member
