My friend bought one of they cards for the DSi

I dunno where she got it, she said it was some website, she paid £89 for it, that allowed her to choose the games she wanted on it.

Is it just me or is that expensive?

I thought maybe she'd been ripped off but I dont know how much these things should cost.

She told me yesterday and I said to her I think you've overpaid.

Her brother in law bought one from the same place(it was him who told her about it) his was £79 for a DS one, which I know is expensive cos I'm sure down the Barra's you get them for like £30, but I wasn't sure if the DSi was a different card etc.

She said it was already bought, paid for and on its way to her.

I said to her that I wished she'd told me before she bought it.

Lol she's usually sensible with things too.

I think it was the getting to choose what games she wanted on it that made her pay all that for it.

ouch! thats a hell of a lot. I hope it works lol

God anno, didn't have the heart to tell her that sometimes they can be a bit dodgy in the DSi.

I hope she hasn't bought the standard DS one :? In the long run,if it works though it will be worth the money, just a shame she didn't realise it could be bought cheaper elsewhere.

Well I did say to her that there were 2 different ones and she said that she definetly got the one for the DSi, her wee boy has the DS Lite anyways but shes bought him the newer one for Christmas, so if it doesn't work in that one hopefully it will at least work in his other one.

Sounds like she's been stung matey.

remember to tell her not to download the updates when the dsi connects to the internet btw.

if she doesnt know what she was doing was ripped off a little maybey 50 with a load of games as the card woulda been around 8 quid and memory about £10 so 50 would have been reasonable tho n saying that the games can be downloaded in minutes

its an odd one - not many people sell them with games already.

obviously this is pretty rude as you are then admiting stealing the games, where as most people buy a card for 20 or so quid and pretend its for home brew only

    yes she was ripped off.

    i would get a supercard:
