My OH has just gone on the Warpath!

OK so we bought a Digital photo frame for our neighbour (60+ yrs old) as a b'day present, her birthday today. Idea being we put all her best photo's/memories on to the frame for her.
Just before Xmas her son was visiting and popped around for a chat.
My OH told him "DO NOT BUY your mum a digital frame" as we have already bought her one.
Guess What? He bought her a digital photo frame!
My OH has gone ape! She is just so pissed off as we would not have expected this from him.
    What would you guys do?

    Thats a GOOD idea.
I have an excellent technique for putting "old" photos onto JPG format without losing any quality.

im thinking you take a back seat and get her something else, this is a mother and son we are talking about, you dont have the right to tell a visiting son what he can and cant get his oap mother when he next comes round!!!

let it go - your neighbours know you are a gooduns'

saying that - you are a very nice neighbour - usually a bottle of wine for mine

unless they look after our animals when we go away (dont mean the kids lol) then we buy them a nice prezzie

say to your neighbour something like,

"we are so embarressed as we did tell x that we were getting you this when we spoke to him at xmas and he never mentioned his gift"

    +1

steal/break his digital photo frame before he has a chance to give it to her.

*in no way does this post promote bad morals*

She and her hubby are V nice people, my kids love them both and they have adopted my kids as their "grandchildren."

Due to our Religious beliefs we can't gift any "Alcohol" otherwise a bottle of Dom Perignon would deffo be sent their way.

I'll let OH decide if she would consider this as a prudent thing to say.

Keep that frame for yourself, if you already have one sell it on here or take it back for refund.
Then get her some flowers out aldi's, job done.

regift the way to go, don't stress

send the frame to me pm for address.
    kthx

I have got a digital photo frame I would like two, can see you'r point though, spoils you'r idea a bit!

Sounds like a bit of jealousy on his part. You say they have "adopted" your kids as grandkids, maybe he feels that your family get more attention from them than he does.

this is the exact reason I like to give people their presents the day BEFORE their birthday... lol

    I think you're prob'ly right.
For some bizzarre reason all of her kids decided the family bloodline should end with them and therefore my neighbours have no grandchildren of their own, and it's too late now :-( very sad tbh she is a "diamond" gal.

    Thanks for all your inputs.

Report him to the police. Tell them he's a sex offender, he'll get in trouble and his mum will disown him. You can tell her that the digital photo frame was bought with drugs money and she'll throw it away.

Give her yours, she'll love you.
