Name a star

19
Found 1st Sep 2008
My friend is just about to have a baby and I thought a nice present would be to name a star after the baby.

I know that it is a symbolic gesture only, but it will make her really happy

A quick google result has turned up hundreds of companies. Can anyone recommend a good one? Perhaps with a nice gift pack?

think Play do this as well and there a very reputable company

Russ Berrie do cuddly toys called Shining Stars that come with a star that you get to name.

They are about £10.00 and there is a big variety of cuddly toys.

A Teddy would be a nice addition. I've looked at their website and see no mention of a teddy. is it in-store only?

Spend over £30 and use code acr4 Ends 31/08! for £15.00 discount.
Although code expired yesterday, still seems to be working according to this thread.

It's possibly the same Russ Berrie Shining Star one that I posted as Clinton's are one of the main distributors of Russ products.

Another nice idea for the baby which is as cheap as chips is to buy that days newspaper. You have to be quick off the mark if the baby is born late in the day, but if born early it's a good present to get. My sister-in-law had a little girl a week ago so we zoomed out and bought The Sun (newspaper, not planet or star or whatever it is!!) and she thought it was fab. I pinched the idea after someone bought a newspaper from his date of birth for his birthday and it cost £20, far cheaper to get one on the day and keep it safe.

We've got the papers from when my daughter was born and also the no1 single for that week too
