i have rhinitis due to a dust allergy. Its a pain.
I have allergy matress cover, you could do will pillow protectors too.
I steam my matress to kill the bugs etc.
You canbuy a allery free duvet too.
I have a humidifyer in bedroom that helps but makes me thirsty in the night.
There was a nasal gadjet advertised at lloyds chemist on tv yesterday. You put up your nose and it lights up and sends currents. These are good actually as i used to use one a while back .
    Think ill invest again.

im using that becnovase now whatevern its called.
I have no sense of smell either have you?
    Not had it for years

i just had the operation for it last week and i can smell now! unreal! lol i am still a bit sore but hoping it works for a while, i am trying now to do things that hopefully will help i got a humidifier from tesco (sitting in cupboard at the moment) but wanted to find out from anyone who suffers from it as they would know better thanks.

I've got a dust mite allergy too, when hayfeaver season kicks in its just so horrible I keep on rupturing little blood vessels in my nose from all the sneezing and sniffing. I've got all anti allergy bedding (mattress cover and pillow covers too) and I've switched from Beconase nasal spray to Flixonase which seems to work a little better for me so far. I Hoover my mattress every time I've change it....never thought of steaming cleaning it.

yeh i had beconase also but didnt get any relief from it

I use Nasonex (probably not correct spelling!) which my doctor prescribed. Has made a world of difference - the pain in my face has gone, I can taste food again, no headaches, and no more being off balance
