National Express (coaches) - child ticket??

Found 25th Jun 2009
I'm thinking of going to London tomorrow and the cheapest way i can find is a child ticket on the national express coach (sunderland to london return).
It says children are age 3-15 but children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult fare paying passenger. Proof of age may be required.

So if i am 15 i can travel alone?

Has anyone travelled as a child before or with a child? Does it say child on the ticket?
I am actually 16 but do you think that matters as i can't afford to pay twice the price for an adult ticket? From past experience they only ever bother looking at your booking reference anyway?

Any help appreciated

No school tomorrow ?
Go for it but be careful travelling alone. Can you not get a mate to go with?
The drivers do not check your age just your ticket.
