    Nationwide autocentres

As Nationwide Autocentres are part of the Tesco Clubcard deals, I was thinking of taking my 4 year old car for a service - can anyone advise on what experiences they have had with them - have they been any good, and can anyone recommend any in the Leeds area ? Thank you

Find yourself a good old fashioned local mechanic recommended by friends/family. These kind of places do a sh*t service. My friend got a service from a place like this for £150. Apparently they wanted extra for changing any filters, oil etc! So they basically just look at it then!

Plus they'll get a YTS lad to do it!

ive taken my car there many times ive never had a problem.never been asked for any extras for filters etc.do you have any personal experience with them.(a place like this) like what.in the last month ive had mine and my wifes service done there mine flew through with MOT . my wifes needed front brake pads which i 100% new it would .nationwide rang asked and quoted a fair price.with the tesco clubcard points this cost next to nothing.if i was james102 id give it a go and see for my self what have you to lose a few clubcard points

    A positive from me...
For the past couple of years i've had an annual service and mot from these guys in Southampton and always paid fully with clubcard vouchers.... never had any extras to pay... mot passed both times.
Though like all national companies, the service you recieve will vary from each branch.

I used some Tesco Vouchers with these a couple of years ago before I found my local garage. No complaints at all, and my car was given a clean bill of health compared to Kwik Fit who have given me countless faults with mine before.

This is the best advice, a local garage who you can trust is so much more value and will not try and charge you £600 for things that i didnt need like the ONE and only time i went to nationwide!

I like the 'MOT Guarantee' they have. They perform the MOT's, of course it will pass if you buy their 'Guarantee' (its in their interest).

i bought no guarantee.but ive used them,i can speak from my own experience can you?

Only work colleagues. The best part is the 'cheap' service and then the phone call half way through the service 'sorry but it will fail if you don't replace the brakes, wiper blades, tyres etc etc' My dad is a mechanic with 40yrs experience. I am lucky.
