Navy long NO extras school coat - Where to buy ?

Yes, this might seem like an easy one to find but to my surprise it is NOT

My daughter has been given this endless detailed list of what to buy for september so I thought i get some bits and pieces now and than.

I cannot seemed to find her a school coat anywhere online which is just

LONG NAVY COAT but it cannot be a puffa coat, or have any trims around it (those fur extras, ribbons, labels, etc) so i am just looking for a long plain boring navy winter coat.

I looked at the obvious sites adams, mothercare, john lewis, M&S, littlewoods, debenhams, wooworths, next etc ... but no traditional no fuss coats (most of them all have that annoying fur trim)

I also looked at La redoute/ Vertbaudet who come close but do only back no navy.

It seems i need to look for this on a small website maybe ? Any ideas anyone ?

Thank you in advance

Only advice is this. Do any of the ones with fur trim not have this as detachable for washing? You could then just remove it.

Or perhaps could be "un-picked" ?

Try John Lewis

Have a look on littlewoods & Additions direct you may find one on there

A school outfitters will have them. Google school outfitters in your area, you probably have one closer than you think. Or ask the school, or mothers who have children there, they'll have the answers!

I have found the perfect one BUT they dont have online store, but if you go on this website, and click on the store button at the bottam it will show you a slideshow and u can see the navy long coat. Unsure if you have a store close to you but thought id post it anyway....xxxx

Hey all - Thank you so much for all your help !!!

I really like the benneton coat altough the othes seem more practical - I called the school again and they than said long means over the knee - I said well tell me where to buy them please and they gave me this reference

I thought £85 is a lot for school coat ! (is that so strange to say - the lady said this was normal ?)
I only paid £25 pound for a navy blue nursery coat but now she is moving to reception the uniform list is so detailed. Most of it comes from John lewis, which is all fairly priced I feel, but i really do think that £40-£45 is is my max. budget.

I certainly will look into the removing fur coats now (strange how you never think of this !)
Will also make a visit to benneton - really like the coat and it does seem longer than the others.

Thank you again !!

I would so not pay £85 oh my god!!!!!!! The one on beneton is very similar to that xxx Its a shame you dont have a Slaters near you they sell um in there xxx

LOL, I had a coat just like that when I was younger...I truely hated it. The school might have a thrift shop, as children grow so quickly a lot of it can be virtually new. School outfitters (especially in areas where there are public schools), whether directly for that school or not, will have the coat you need. Good luck!
