why dont you build it yourself? much easier than you would think, and your budget is plenty for a pretty beefy system

a quick look on ebuyer shows u could build:

    Athlon Black Edition x2 2.7ghz
    4gb 800mhz ram
    Ati 4770 512mb ddr5 graphics
    500gb hard drive
    dvd-rw
    samsung 23inch monitor
    coolermaster case

    all for £470 delivered

i remember back in the days of the 486 and pentiums period i was into building & customising my own - back then there was a big saving to build your own but as time went on it became cheaper to buy off the shelf - also i had a bad experience once with a faulty part (took me forever to work which part was faulty, as i had to test each component) lot of hair tearing involved.

there are definately savings to be made just now by building yourself. its also difficult to find a system which ticks exactly all your boxes. its much easier if you build
