Aren't Cambridge Audio effectively a Richer Sounds own brand?

I think there is a Richer Sounds club that offers discounts (they used to put adverts in What Hi-Fi with discounted prices as well, not sure if they still do) - normally you can just walk in a quote the deal to get the discount - but not sure what there current offers are or if you can get that cheaper...

No, Cambridge Audio have been going since the 60's. They can be bought in a varity of stores:?

Richer sound will price match and offer in the UK web or store based. So I am trying to find the cheapest as this is some piece of kit for the money.

judging by pricerunner and google only available at richer

I say effictively a own-brand as I can only find very few of their products elsewhere and RS have specialised in Cambridge Audio for as long as I can remember (at least 15 years...)

What other stores have you found this receiver at?

PS Do so googling on Julian Richer & Cambridge Audio - seems Julian has shares in Audio Partnership (parent company of Cambridge Audio) and is the sole UK distributor for many of their products...

Ahh right, sorry. When I hear ‘own brand’, Tesco (cheap chinese guff that breaks in minutes) comes to mind. They seem to be the only on-line trader; there is the odd product in some audiophile stores. Due to being small independent stores they are nearly twice the price of Richer. I think his price is unbeatable. Its always worth a try.

Thanks for the help jah128 and AugQX.
