Hi,

My sister works for a terrible company, who are refusing to provide her with any of the equipment needed to work from home. She's therefore looking for a laptop, ideally around £300, that she can use for the next few months.

It seems that stock is really low in a lot of places at the moment so it's proving a bit of a struggle.

Any help is really appreciated! Would need to be available for delivery or collection around Sheffield/Rotherham/Worksop kind of area.

Thanks!

What sort of things will she need to be using it for? Will she need any specialised software? Things to consider.

A couple of refurbished ones here with free delivery.

The Lenovo thinkpad is a great laptop for the small pricepoint

Thanks for this. Refurbished seems like a really good suggestion, although "Grade C" seems a bit worrying. It's pretty basic work she does - nothing that will require a load of processing power or anything, so I'm thinking maybe a higher grade refurb, but lower powered computer could be a good option.
Be careful of new sellers or sellers whose history is just low value items. Due to working from home and kids schooling at home, laptops are now a scarce item that scammers may target eBayers with.
