Hi all,

Does anyone know where will be the cheapest to get one? Unfortunatly we arent elidgable for any benefit that will allow those company's who help, help us!

Many thanks

have you got any friends / family who can get it trade for you?

if not best place for prices is to go into local plumb centres or bss branch
as they will be cheaper than buying from british gas - etc
its worth asking if they can give you a name of a good corgi registered fitter

find your local branch

plumbcenter.co.uk/plu…tml
ptsplumbing.com/

good luck and congrats on new baby:thumbsup:

We bought this one about 6 months ago:

diy.com/diy…lse

Check instore tho', it was £100 cheaper!

I brought one of these from travis perkins plumers division and got it trade price.
Great boiler with fast flow rate.

Get a good boiler with a high flow rate or it will take ages to fill a bath.

british gas were doing somethibg not long ago where if you buy a new boiler from them you could save about £600 off your gas bill

Someone asked the same question over on PC Advisor forums recently. ]Click here for details.

yes they fab.
I was preggers last year and paid £4500 for british gas to install mine and then saw in trade depot a month later same boiler for £600 so even with fitting huge difference.
Trade depot isnt just for traders have about 15 stoores nationwide but do give good discount to traders that use them often

mrcentralheating.com/ Very good for central heating packs, you can buy a worcester bosch boiler, 7 rads, rad valves, tube, filling loop from around £1400 dependent on boiler size of course and dont forget the price of fitting on top of this.
As markvirgo has said get as big a size boiler as you can afford ref water flow rates.
If you want the best boiler get a Viessmann viessmann.com/com/en
They dont come cheap though.

yes they are good mother in law had one for over 20 yr and I think its still there - she moved
we have always had them too - so reliable I hope the OP find out more about them they will not be sorry:)

We had a Ferroli in our old house and it was very poor. Would NOT recommend one of those!
Our new house has a Worcester and we've had no probs at all, even though it is well overdue for a service. Next door neighbour is a boiler service engineer and he says they're really good.
