exavtly the same as mine accept this is the 50 inch version

just remember not to go to mental with size as if you want a great picture 40 inch is about the best size as anymore normally means stretching pixels.the more pixels the better

ah 40+ inch sorry!!!!

Plasma refers to how the TV works - its a form of flat screen. The other choice of flat screen is LCD which is the most common these days. Back in the day plasma was the best choice, and LCD couldn't be used for large screens. These days there isn't much in it. Purists will say that plasma is better, and sometimes it is. It best to see the set working in question - you need to see how well it can reproduce dark blacks and contrasts in colour.

HD refers to the resolution - hd ready TVs can support 720 pixels, Full HD TVs can show 1080 pixels. The more pixels the better the image. Although for TVs smaller than 36 ish inches it is very hard to tell the difference. For your 40" set it is best to go for a Full HD one - 1080 pixels.

but anyway hannspree sets are always worth a look!

i would reccomend panasonic ive got a 42" plasma i bought mine about 5 years ago and the new upgraded model now is simple amazing. heres how it looks like in real life looks even better. panasonic.co.uk/htm…tml

thanks mate.

would agree with the panasonic, been doing some research myself and every one raves bout the panasonic 42" px80 which can be had for bout 670 online . richer sounds will match this and will also give u free 5 year warranty, as panasonic have a free 5 year warranty promotion just started if u buy instore at any shop.

I can recommend Panasonic....
LCD sets are better from 32" down, anything over that and plasma is recommended.

I bought mine from flat tellys (changed their name from cheap tellys)
