Aldi are doing a good deal on a Base only next Thursday, they are usually very highly specification PC's. Because they are so good, you will find they go very fast, and its in store purchase only. But I dont think you'll regret it

just looked into this one and its a much better spec, silly question tho will i have to get the pci card to make it wirelesss ??

    Eylo.

Neither of those systems would be much good for you there, because they both have very poor graphics cards. The power of a graphics card is what determines how smoothly a game plays (it's the graphics card that renders everything you see), not so much the CPU, which is the strong point of these systems. The RAM just affects loading times for applications.

I'm not sure a new system would be better than upgrading the one you've got already, especially as technology besides the size of harddisks and power of graphic cards hasn't really moved on much over the past four years. Could you tell me the spec of the system you've got right now (or just its model number, which might be easier)?

I think we can tell from the spec you gave us. I think if you want it for gaming you could build your own PC with a good graphics card for a cheap price. Or that Dell and just replace the graphics card for something better nVidia is recommended. Anyway if your gonna do some gaming not a lot both Pc's will be suitable for the job. If you want to go wireless for the PC you can get a PCI wireless thing which are cheap and more reliable or a USB adapter which are still as good.
