Need advice on the best courier for UK deliveries

I need to send a parcel just after Christmas which is about 40cm square and around 5.5 kg on a 48 hour courier. As this may become a regular thing I am looking to find the best value postage solution. I have looked on parcel monkey and parcel2go but not sure what is the best service.

The only delivery service I think is decent is dpd .
    Not sure about cheap tho

    DPD!! Never had any issues.

DPD - I have had a lot less issues with them and the Customer Service is the best

yeah dpd text with a 1hour delivery slot there the best

I'd avoid DPD after several missed collections. UPS Access point is good.

    agree with Sreddar
Parcel2go and drop off at ups acess point which costs about 7.50 for next day delivery..I use this service alot.
I sent 4.5kg parcel from Durham to Essex on monday with ups and arrived next day with no issues and fully tracked each step of the way

    Avoid yodel,myhermes

I would also agree with the others, go with UPS via Parcel2go. If you know the recipient (ie family/friends) you can drop off at your local drop off point and they can collect at theirs. Cheapest price and maybe more convenient for the recipient as they needn't wait in for a delivery. I have used this service many times and have found it to be extremely quick and reliable. Your package would cost £5.94 inc vat on this service. Hope that helps
(make sure you check the collection/drop off points before committing to purchase)
