I wouldnt do it all at once, Do two seperate trips........Don't say where you ar but Venice Treviso with Ryanair is just dirt cheap, you can also do what I did and land in milan and get a train from there to Venice.........SNCF has an English language website and I didnt book online as it is so cheap to get a ticket from the machine in the station if you have a credit card, also you might want to stay longer.
There are blogs on the internet that even give location of the ticket machines, where to find McDonalds (for when u r broke) etc......have fun!!!!

do u still remember how much u have spent in italy?where have u visited?
we plan to go there during summer vacation..early june..do u think it is a good idea?

my advise would be just to go to italy, get a cheap ryanair flight, travelling by bus is the cheapest way of transport within italy

I went to Italy last year ( July ) and flew to Milan Marpensa with Easy jet. The best way is to catch a train ofra bus to Milan Grand Central and from there you can get near enough anywhere in Italy - I went to Verona and on to Venice from Milan Grand Central as the trains are very good. Always look into going 1st class as it not much diffencne in price but the air con is alot better.

Yes, I went to milan central from the airport on the cheap bus.....a couple of euros for that, had
a couple of nights there (about 40 euros a room, can sleep 3) then train to venice, (about 25 euros) then stayed at Venice LIdo for a couple of days as the beach is there (50 euros) and got a waterbus pass for a day (6 -7euros) then when it ran out got another............went to a cafe round the back of St Marks square for pizza (about 7 euros, beer 3 euros).........look at the blogs on the internet, loads of advice.......make sure you only take hand luggage on Ryanair (10kg allowance, check size of case on their site), have a great time!!

don't forget you can only take 100mls of liquid in a bottle ,enough to fit in a sealable small plastic bag,if you go hand luggage only.but you can buymore toiletries, drinks, once through security.

You could fly into Pisa then take the train to Florence,or fly into Rome, usually cheap with budget airlines.italy Is expensive however prices gone up35% in last year.

Terravision buses are a cheap way of getting from the airports to the city.

if you go to rome get to the airport 2 hours early-rome traffic is very unpredictable.
