Need help deciding which digital camera please!!

Im getting my fiance a new camera for christmas . I have found two cameras but need some help deciding which one!
The cameras are: Fujifilm finepix S5700 and Fujifilm S5800

    Fujifilm S5700
    Specification- comet.co.uk/sho…ion

    Amazon Review and Price- amazon.co.uk/Fuj…IWI

    Fujifilm S5700
    Specification- amazon.co.uk/Fuj…IWI

    Amazon Review and Price- amazon.co.uk/Fuj…1-1

So basically the difference that i can see is s5700 has 7.0mp and x4 digital zoom, and the s5800 has 8.0mp and x5 digital zoom

so why is the S5800 cheaper than the S5700? Both on rrp and current price...?

Is there somthing im missing? both seem to be well reviewed anyway!

    Cheers

P.s Im not nessecarily buying it from amazon, im yet to search for the cheapest price! even at £80-100 it seems very reasonable!

    why do you say that...?

just a good deal posted a little while ago on here for sale on amazon. a simple looking digital camera, samsung, with really good spec and was thinking for roughly the same amount money it might be worth a look at... i'll find the link and send it

13.6MP and 3.6 optical zoom. alot more compact and cute compared to the others above. very good spec too for less than £100. just a suggestion!

more money but you wont regret spending it on this camera, I find slr's a heck of alot better than the point and shoot

no thanks, the x10 optical zoom is important, as is the 'super macro mode'

both those cameras are seriously chunky and no good for holiday snaps etc. I had one and found we never took it anywhere due to it being just too big!

check the specs, they are actually pretty small.. obviously not as small as the digitals but not as big as the cannon eos we have! and we took that everywhere with us in florida so im sure we will manage with a smaller one
