need help to reduce cost of virgin media TV only

    hi everybody,

I want to sign up for vigin media TV only (tied up already in contract for broadband withO2). TV with asian package works out to be £11.50(M pa ckage)+£10 (asian channel) + £35 standard installation (no self installation option which is normally £15), as far as I know. I might get £65 cashback from take (not sure about their tracking rate).

Can somebody please suggest me a way to reduce the cost in any way.

Rep will be added for every helpful comment,

    Regards,
    PP

no i am not getting it from VM as I am already tied up with O2 home broadband and O2 home broadband can provide broadband on BT phone line, so essentially I am bound to O2 and BT for BB and telephone line. My builiding management doesnt let me get sky satellite dish installed either, surrounded by shackles all over

why not do what i suggested?

I went to all that trouble the other the night, and you go and start a new thread? You wont save anything by just getting VM TV installed, as the saving dont kick in until you take the TV/BB/Phone bundle.

Dont be upset mate, With Asian package VM (TV/BB/Phone bundle) works out to be £39 a month (I don't consider cash back to be a certain factor). Currently paying BT £8.50 and O2 £7, if I sign up only with virgin (21.50pcm+35 installation= £24 pcm), total works out to be the same amount (£39.50). The fact that VM provides faster internet is conutered by the fact that VM doesnt provide access to 0845/0870 numbers as part of their package and their call charges are allegedly higher than BT.

not upset, just wondered why you had to create new thread lol
