    need help travelling to London in January

    Hi I hope I am posting in right place, My work is sending me to London Park Lane Hilton for a conference, its only a couple of hours but i would like to be up and down within the day.. problem is it all needs to be prebooked I would like to know times etc beforehand as this is the first time I will be leaving my baby girl for a full day. also needs to be prebooked so I can claim expenses. I've looked at train, plane etc. anyone any suggestions coming from Glasgow.. taxi is no use as cant prebook and dont know whether or not tube is prebookable I would like to get withing walking distance of hilton without too many stops.....

    Plane to London City then taxi, job done.

    Of course you can pre book taxis. I do it all the time

    cant get taxi, how far is london city from park lane?

    As above, for the record you can prebook a cab, Google "Addison Lee" and you can get a tube pass from trainline in advance.
