Where abouts are you? There are usually independants who will fit a windscreen much cheaper than autogalss etc, Iknow of one who is happy to take a screen out of a scrap car and fit in customers car, which works out much cheaper than new. Try calling a few of the smaller ads in yellow pages and asking for quote, then ask whether they will fit a second hand one in, also call a local car breakers and ask them they often have a number for someone who buys parts off them.

Not necessarily, some will do the fitting for you, it depends how good they are, I know of a couple here that will fit some stuff but not others, it really is a question of calling them all. Really time consuming but you should be able to get some help!
