I'm pulling my hair out - iTunes won't install the Apple Mobile Device driver! I have uninstalled ALL the apple software in the control panel, downloaded iTunes and re-installed it. It still won't read my iphone or the kids ipod touches - says the relevant driver isn't installed - it just stopped working one day. I have been trying this every couple of days for the last 2 months. I have tried everything that I can find on the internet. I've contacted Apple and they tell me just to uninstall and reinstall and won't offer any other help. All software that I use to put music on my iphone has to have the iTunes driver installed - so basically, I can't do it. I have iTunes on my laptop and it connects/reads all the ipods/iphone, no problem. All the apps/music I have downloaded are on my desktop pc, so all the things I've paid for have been wiped from the ipods/iphone because they are not on the laptop - even though I log in to the same account. Can anyone help?
