Need some help choosing a dishwasher!

    hey folks,

im looking for a decent dishwasher as my parents one has died after 10 solid years (indesit!).

Now i've found 3 around the £250 mark which I'm keen on.

    very.co.uk/ind…prd
    very.co.uk/hot…prd

So Beko vs Indesit vs Hotpoint. I'd go for the Indesit but reviews suggest the top rack is poorly built. The hotpoint comes with 10 year parts guarantee which is insane, and the Beko I don't know much of.

Anyone able to comment on a particular company as I'm redoing the kitchen and would ideally like the best appliances I can get.

    Many thanks

The indesit seems to have really long cycles so I will leave that, beko vs hotpoint?

thats nice but should of mentioned I'm looking for an integrated one.

I wouldn't take much notice of the ten years parts guarantee with Hotpoint. They normally only supply the parts free, and then you have to pay an extortionate fee to have them fitted by one of their own engineers, thus negating any advantage of the free parts.

    Bosch for £10 more.
Indesit and Hotpoint made in the same place. Beko have had quality issues recently albeit not with Dishwashers.

You'll pay a premium for an integrated one.
Beko is a budget brand, so a lottery in the long run.
Hotpoint/Indesit are the same company brands - low end of the market.
I'd also vote against Electrolux/Zanussi products based on own experience.
Mine is Bosch Classixx and works well but it is free standing.
For an integrated one may be worth having a look at Ikea own brands - they have surprisingly good reviews.

Pay the extra and go for Neff.

yeah ive got no option since our kitchen was built around integrated appliances 10 yrs ago. Not really a problem, ill look into paying extra as long as it lasts. The indesit made it 10 years so would of thought they are good machines.

Avoid indesit and Hotpoint like the plague, Beko much better option but if you can stretch abit more get a Bosch.

They shifted production to Poland hence they're now crap cheap low quality and all use same crap components be it the £100 machines or the £500 machines. Enjoy paying the uneconomical £130+ call out charge when you have to call them which you most probably will.

Nothing wrong with a Beko. Good for the money.

ok cheers, so Bosch it is.

also for the oven, I chose a Beko single oven. Fridge is a hotpoint. Any recommendations on these? rather not cut corners

I bought a new but return item like this one eBay item 192073760521 (Bosch 13 place integrated £275) from Discount Quality Appliances. I had no problem, no box but new for sure. Might do a deal for both items.

    Do they come with warranty?

just based on my recent experience. Needed a dishwasher quick so looked on Gumtree. Paid £35 for a used Bosch. Working perfectly and better than my old one. It might be a risk but plenty of savings to be had.
