Need some help with lastminue.com & Thorpe park

Found 7th Jun 2006
A friend of mine has ordered a thorpe park ticket online at lastminute.com but she is unsure whether she will be receiving it in the post of will need to collect it with her credit car at the gates when she goes. Ive had a look around but cant get to the delivery stage (to confirm which one it is) without getting charged for a ticket.

Can someone (who possibly has bought from lastminute.com before) advise on if she will receive it in the post or get it at the agtes

Many thanks

your friend will have been emailed the "tickets"...

here's the info found on this lastminute page:

Theme parks

What happens once I place my order?

Once an order is placed you (the customer) receives a confirmation email with all the details of the booking. Please print out this e-mail and take to the designated box office at the theme park. At the same time an e-mail is sent to the theme park box office, where they process your tickets so they are waiting for you when you arrive.

Where are my tickets?

All tickets are to be collected at the box office. If possible we highly recommend that you turn up when the theme park opens. lastminute.com tickets does not entitle guests fast track entry to the theme park. lastminute.com have many hundreds of customers booking tickets via the website each day for all of our theme parks and attractions which could mean you have to wait - if you do have to queue please be patient and courteous with the box office staff!.

What ID do I need to collect the tickets?

You will need to take your confirmation e-mail with you and if possible the credit card you used to make your booking.

Can someone else pick up the tickets?

If the tickets are to be picked up by someone else you will need to give them a photocopy of the credit card used to make the booking and a letter of authorisation, signed by you, entitling them to pick up the tickets on your behalf. They must present this at the theme park box office in order to collect the tickets. Please note: Some theme parks do not accept letters of authorisation. If this is the case it will be noted in the product description.
