Need to get a refund from Richersounds!

I bought an amp/speaker package from RS just over a week ago, but have found a more expensive, but better speaker set online ...

Is there any way I can get a cash refund from them?

The reciept says if an item is faulty they will offer a cash refund/unit exchange in if it's less than 30 days old, has anyone just pretended there was a fault and got away with it? will they check the unit in front of you ?

just brake it yourself in a way that it will look like a fault from them. Remember the customer is always right. lol

    Or you could break it.

But i wouldnt recommend it, cause if you break it and they say no your stuffed. lol.

    Have you used them?

like swap the fuses or something

can you not box it back up and return, do you not get 14 days to return, i think deliberately breaking for a refund is a little naughty, why deliberatley cost any company for your change in mind

I dont want to deliberately break it,

but I cant see them offering a refund for a change in my mind.

Has anyone ever returned things to RS for a cash refund?

Whats the liklihood of them testing the product there and then?

    bought instore.

just got the refund anyway, told them the left channel on the amp was dropping out on occasion, they refunded the working speakers because it was bought as a set. nice guys, good service, but I really need the other speakerset I've seen online after hearing a friends system last night!

    Hello H_360,

If you do that your breaking the law and making a fraudulent claim.

I don't recommend anyone doing this.
